Debbie Lynn was born in Louisiana, home to some of the world's finest comfort food. From the time she could see over the stove, you could find her stirring a pot of roux, or chopping up the traditional seasoning of the south - onion, celery, and bell pepper - also known as the trinity. she cooked side by side with her Mother and, while very young, took responsibility for the family's meals. Growing up southern meant that cooking was part of everyday life and Mama knew her oldest daughter had a special gift.
The time together with family was always well spent with lots of cooking, recipe sharing, and the sounds of traditional Zydeco music and rhythm & blues. While young and old reminisced and enjoyed the music, Debbie Lynn's food was the center of attention. You won't find better Louisiana cooking outside the Bayou.
